Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is a regional government agency focused on ensuring clean air for all. They are seeking an experienced Records Administrator to maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with state regulations and assist with public records requests.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper maintenance of Agency electronic and paper records in accordance with the State of Washington’s retention requirements and the Washington State Public Records Act
Assist with fulfilling public records requests
Report to the Compliance Systems & Administrative Services Manager
Work in partnership with the Agency’s General Counsel and Public Records Officer
Classify, index, file, store and retrieve records as needed

Qualification

Required

Experience in records management
Knowledge of state regulatory requirements for records retention and disposition
Experience in classifying, indexing, filing, storing and retrieving records
Ability to assist with fulfilling public records requests
Detail-oriented
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in partnership with General Counsel and Public Records Officer
Commitment to public health and the environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in electronic records management systems
