In this role, the individual will perform grit and air blasting techniques to remove weld and other materials, while also maintaining blending tools and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Mechanically remove weld, braze, m-fill, and other materials on assigned parts
Re-contour material to specific dimensions per written instructions
Perform grit blast and air blast operations per written instructions
Select appropriate air tools and accessories for each blending operation
Examine own work for compliance to written instructions
Perform maintenance and lubrication on blending tools
Ensure all environment, health and safety rules, requirements, and procedures are adhered to
Maintain work area in a clean orderly manner
Perform other duties as required

Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred

Previous experience performing blending operations in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of the gauges and measuring devise associated with specific blending operations
Read and follow written and verbal instructions
