Production Development Technician

Responsibilities
Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times
Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff
Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements
Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree preferred, or high-school degree and comparable military technical training
Minimum 2 years of experience in a distribution environment, preferably in continuous improvement, quality, or inventory control
Strong analytical and research skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP knowledge is a plus
Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as pallet jack
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations
Detail-oriented, team-focused, and flexible to work different shifts and overtime with little or no notice
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
