The role involves creating detailed design drawings using software and collaborating with clients and team members to produce high-quality designs for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed engineering design plans and figures using drafting software
Perform drafting tasks under the direction of senior engineers
Work with different team members (mechanical, plumbing) to coordinate and deliver a finished product
Qualification
Required
Must be either local to Fort Lauderdale/Oakland Park FL, be able to commute within 50 miles, or be willing to relocate from within the US (no relocation stipend provided)
Previous knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to communicate with clients via phone and email
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Preferred
Ability to read drafting plans
Ability to prepare electrical load calculations and riser diagrams (residential / commercial)
