Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling events and activities that meet social, health, and recreational needs
Using Microsoft Office software to create a monthly calendar of events and a resident newsletter
Organizing and facilitating monthly meetings with residents
Facilitating access for seniors to available services and entitlement benefits
Assisting residents through referrals to community resources for issues such as transportation, employment, understanding bills, money management, and homemaker services
Keeping accurate records of interactions with residents to record program requirements
Using online software to track and report activities for compliance and oversight
Qualification
Required
Child Abuse Clearances following the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law of PA: https://www.pa.gov/agencies/dhs/resources/keep-kids-safe/child-abuse-clearances
No criminal record will be considered
Job is on-site for 3 hours weekly or 6 hours bi-weekly. You have the ability to create your own schedule on a month to month basis
