Responsibilities
Inspect parts, packaging components, raw materials and finished products
Use measurement tools such as measuring tape, scales and thickness gauges
Inspect and verify labeling and quantities
Read and interpret manufacturing specifications
Operate a label scanner and tablet
Identify and control nonconforming product
Perform Root Cause Analysis on process and product failures
Set an example for best practices for quality and safety
Give actionable direction to production workers and other QA staff
Provide training and guidance to other QA staff
Identify, monitor and maintain QC test equipment
Quarantine and disposition flagged material
Review and write QA/QC test procedures
Qualification
Required
Inspect parts, packaging components, raw materials and finished products

Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook is required
High school diploma or GED required
Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
Able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
Able to push or pull 40-100lb unassisted
Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
Preferred
Two years of QC, Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in quality or STEM preferred
