ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INTERN
Fayetteville Public Works Commission is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join their team. The intern will work on Distribution and Transmission design projects, gaining hands-on experience in the utility engineering lifecycle and supporting data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced engineers on Distribution and Transmission design projects, including involvement with the GRIP Transmission Grant project
Gain hands-on exposure to the full utility engineering lifecycle—from substations all the way to the meter point—while learning how real-world power systems operate
Support data collection and analysis, assist with work order creation, and help troubleshoot system issues that impact everyday operations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited associate or bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Applicants should be able to commit to the entire internship duration
