Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-level data architectures with a focus on data integration and ETL solutions
Develop logical and physical data models to support transactional, analytical, and reporting systems
Provide architecture and design support for database, business intelligence, data integration, and master data management solutions
Design and support Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), and reporting systems
Architect and support integrated cloud-based data solutions
Conduct data architecture and ETL activities supporting S&T mission-focused organizations
Support data architecture and ETL efforts for DoW or other Federal agencies
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data platform designs with mission, business, and technical requirements
Ensure architecture designs adhere to established standards, security requirements, and best practices
Contribute to technical documentation and architecture artifacts
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of experience in data architecture design with a focus on enterprise architecture and ETL
Five (5) years of experience in data modeling, including logical and physical data design
Two (2) years of experience conducting data architecture and ETL in or for a Science & Technology (S&T) mission-focused organization
Two (2) years of experience conducting data architecture and ETL in or for the Department of the Workforce (DoW) or another Federal agency
Experience designing and supporting OLTP, OLAP, and reporting systems
Experience providing architecture and design support for database, business intelligence, data integration, and master data management solutions, including cloud-based environments
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience supporting large-scale Federal or enterprise data platforms
Familiarity with cloud-native data services and modern data integration frameworks
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
