Responsibilities

The Materials Supervisor -2nd Shift will lead and manage 2nd shift hourly materials team including material handlers , crib attendants and detail/high-rise
Ensure timely material availability in support of manufacturing operations
Support daily site level second shift turnover and parts review
Analyze commit compliance for critical material and identify risks to production schedules and customer delivery
Maintain material organization and flow on the shop floor to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations
Provide input to Delivery Assurance regarding manufacturing inhibitors and recovery
Collaborate regularly with Quality, Supply Chain Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams
Apply CORE (Pratt & Whitney Operating System) principles and champion Lean manufacturing initiatives
Support continuous improvement efforts across value stream operations

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, materials, operations management, quality, or engineering environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience supporting production or manufacturing operations
Understanding of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an operational environment

Preferred

Prior people or team lead/supervisory experience
Experience leading or participating in Kaizen events or structured continuous improvement initiatives
Understanding of internal and external customer requirements
Experience with SAP or other manufacturing or materials management systems
Strong attention to detail when resolving operational or delivery issues
