Responsibilities

Manage commissioning projects across diverse market sectors, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance
Lead and coordinate commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and other critical building systems
Develop and manage commissioning plans, specifications, schedules, and reports
Facilitate communication among owners, designers, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
Oversee functional performance testing and documentation, ensuring compliance with design, and industry standards
Serve as projects primary client contact, building strong relationships and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
Mentor and support staff on commissioning procedures, best practices, and professional growth

Required

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or Sustainability Management from an ABET accredited program
LEED AP Building Operations and Maintenance Certification
Qualified Commissioning Process Provider Certificate (QCxP)
Project Management Professional Certification
10+ years of experience in a consulting environment commissioning building systems or leading commissioning projects across MEP disciplines
Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated client's healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, mission critical, industrial, or R&D facilities
Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff
Long history of very satisfied clients
Strong spoken and written communications skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Effective working individually and within team environments
