Responsibilities
Analyze mainframe components (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Procs, and file structures) to assess functionality and identify required changes
Review and interpret existing code to determine technical impacts and system dependencies
Investigate end-to-end flows within the mainframe environment to identify risks and critical areas
Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and provide technical insights
Deliver clear and timely updates on analysis findings to delivery teams and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Procs, and file structures
Proven ability to analyze and understand complex codebases
Strong documentation skills with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight timelines
Must be willing to attend the office during the first full week for onboarding and occasionally thereafter for meetings, if required
Preferred
Prior exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives
