Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive the design, development, and testing of next-generation aerospace products. Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and robust solutions that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements
Translate our business strategy and technology roadmap into actionable goals for your team, ensuring every project is aligned with the company's long-term vision
Implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency and streamline our New Product Development (NPD) process
Collaborate with other business units and senior leadership to align on product development and production support
Ensure your engineers have the resources and support needed to thrive. Guide your team through complex challenges
Performs special projects/tasks as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of aerospace engineering experience
3+ years of engineering management experience
A successful track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
Proven ability to manage technical, cost, and schedule performance on complex development and sustaining programs
Technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Systems, Safety)
The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience with industry standards (e.g., ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) and export regulations (ITAR)
Experience with Jira, ADO, or other program management tools
Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S
This position requires access to export control information. To conform to US Export Control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the US Government
