Responsibilities
Perform and lead systems engineering processes and best practices
Provide expert engineering support for all phases of the acquisition program
Guide the development of transport and networking architecture for tactical capabilities
Conduct design reviews and lead technical evaluations of network performance
Support Capability Set (CS) and Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) activities
Collaborate with various stakeholders on interoperability considerations
Review acquisition documentation and contractor proposals for compliance and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Testing, or a Related Field
Minimum of 10 years of tactical network systems engineering experience
Subject matter expert in network engineering, LAN/VLAN design, and network protocol analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of tactical communications systems, RF engineering, and transport/network architecture
