Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Backstage plugins for enterprise tool integration
Build integrations with Shield Console, JIRA, Gitlab, and other developer tools
Implement dev container integration patterns
Create and maintain tool catalog features
Develop APIs for tech standards publishing
Support policy-as-code automation initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years software development experience
2+ years experience with developer platforms or portals
Experience integrating enterprise tools and APIs
Familiarity with developer experience principles
Preferred
Experience with Backstage or similar IDP platforms
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Background in Devops or platform engineering
Contributions to open source project
