Responsibilities
Perform CT and X-Ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Operate GE CT scanners (Optima and Revolution models) and GE X-Ray equipment
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
Prepare and screen patients prior to imaging procedures
Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures
Operate and maintain CT and X-Ray imaging systems
Utilize tele radiology systems for image transmission and interpretation
Operate fax and related communication equipment as required
Perform quality control checks and report equipment issues promptly
Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
Qualification
Required
Must have successfully completed training in the radiology field (CT and X-Ray) and have at least 1 year experience in CT and 2 years' experience in X-Ray
Must have expertise to operate tele radiology and fax equipment
GE scanners; we have an Optima and a Revolution in CT. Our x-ray equipment is also GE. Must have expertise to operate tele radiology and fax equipment
Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology
Must possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R)
Must possess a current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
