Responsibilities
Deskside support
Workstation setup and maintenance
Printer setup & resupply
Help organize IT storage
Help staff with various software and scripting needs
Work with senior admin staff to learn how to maintain a large network infrastructure including petabyte-scale storage, high performance computing, fault-tolerant services, and more
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Information Technology or related field plus 1 year systems administration, helpdesk, or desk-side support experience, OR any equivalent combination of experience, and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
Preferred
Experience with MacOS in a workstation environment
Experience with Windows in a workstation environment
Experience with Linux in a workstation or server environment
Experience with shell scripting
Experience troubleshooting a variety of applications
Good written and verbal communications skills
Experience with the puppet configuration management system
