Responsibilities
Automate cloud native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructure
Work with microservices and distributed application architecture, containers, orchestration, and serverless technologies
Work within a cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructure
Ensure monitoring and health of the resources deployed via enterprise management solutions
Document procedures used during deployment cycles
Work with the fellow DevOps team members, cross-train, and grow your technical talent across the DevOps team and assist in troubleshooting tasks
Implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that adheres to industry best practices
Qualification
Required
Active / current U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret (TS) security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval/access within a reasonable period of time [US citizenship required]
Bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant experience (may consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a completed degree) for Level 1
1+ year(s) of DevOps or software development experience for Level 1
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience (may consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a completed degree) for Level 2
2+ year(s) of DevOps or software development experience for Level 2
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times and shifting priorities
Proven troubleshooting skills and willingness to take on unfamiliar challenges
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using products like Terraform, Python, & Ansible
Linux tools/automation and shell scripting, as well as Windows PowerShell
Cloud ecosystem products across various vendor platforms
Docker containerization, Kubernetes (K8s) is a must
Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab is a must
Creating, executing, and troubleshooting complex, automated processes used to configure servers and deploy code
Preferred
Current/Active TS with SCI
1+ year(s) in a technical leadership role managing technical objectives and JIRA metrics reporting
Current Security+, CISSP, or other certification that meets DoD 8140 IAT Level II or Level III
