Responsibilities
Actively participates in the continuous improvement process by identifying and addressing opportunities to reduce costs, improve the product/process and overall operations within the business
Support the MTS Tekni-Plex Technical and commercial organization with integration of new products or processes into the manufacturing sites
Leads or supports the validation of processes, ensuring all activities are completed on time and in line with the Quality processes and business objectives
Support, coach and assist the manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize resources and improve existing processes
Identify and lead improvement initiatives across the MTS business that contribute to the reduction of internal/external escapes and establish best practices for sustained business performance
Identify financial resource requirements for key programs, ensuring appropriate planning and feasibility of programs is evaluated, actively monitored and reported throughout the program
As required, support Capital management activities within the MTS business, ensuring projects are managed within budget, implemented on time, without impacting daily production activities
Establish governance structures for programs, provide timely updates to the Leadership team and sites management regarding project planning and execution
Lead and develop program management structures within the Tekni-Plex MTS business, coach and mentor other programs leads to improve overall planning and execution of programs
Travel required: approximately 10–20%
Qualification
Required
Must have a bachelor's degree
7 years of program management experience
Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing industry
Good communication and interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy are a plus
Preferred
Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus
Project management certifications are preferred
