Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and/or public emergency services as required by post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor processing, and directing individuals to approved locations in accordance with site requirements
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership per established procedures
Qualification
Required
Have 2+ years of security experience
Possess an active DoD Secret clearance
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
