Responsibilities
Perform professional-level fire protection engineering services such as life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, & performance-based fire engineering design
Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to see that these items are complete, accurate and in accordance with good professional service practice standards
Collaborate with clients and internal teams
Participate in site visits and on-site data collection as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of related experience, or Minimum of 5 years of relevant fire protection engineering experience in lieu of a degree
PE license with emphasis in Fire Protection Engineering required (FPE)
Proficiency in Fire Protection Engineering and Life Safety principles
Knowledge and application of Fire Safety and Safety Engineering concepts
Experience with Fire Suppression Systems and related technologies
Preferred
Experience with Autodesk Revit strongly preferred
