Responsibilities
Design, architect, and implement solutions using the Appian low-code platform
Contribute to backlog refinement and provide sprint-level effort estimates
Develop new features aligned to business requirements and user stories
Perform unit testing and peer code reviews to ensure quality and scalability
Collaborate closely with functional, QA, and cross-functional teams
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Retros, Demos)
Present sprint demos and technical updates to stakeholders as needed
Contribute to architecture discussions and implementation frameworks
Support proof-of-concept builds and internal accelerators
Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certified Appian Associate Developer or Appian Senior Developer
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Public Trust clearance
8+ years of experience designing and implementing Appian-based BPM/low-code solutions
Strong hands-on Appian development and debugging expertise
Solid understanding of SQL, databases, and business process workflows
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Excellent communication skills across both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with Appian SAIL, Process Models, Interfaces, Monitoring, and Integrations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Exposure to open-source technologies
Experience working within distributed/remote development teams
