Responsibilities
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of vehicle systems, and components within the research facility
Collaborate with Vehicle OEMs to support vehicle development projects
Interpret and summarize technical data, reports, and test results for various stakeholders
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Communicate complex automotive concepts clearly and professionally to senior management and non-technical audiences
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of research methodologies
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Periodic travel to various industry events, training, and vehicle manufacturers
Operation of a company vehicle
Qualification
Required
Solid, hands-on general knowledge of automobiles, including body structural repair, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with top-level executives
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
Education: Bachelors in an automotive related discipline or 10 years of related automotive technical experience
Preferred
Proven experience in vehicle research, testing, or analysis environment is preferred
Proficiency with relevant software tools and data analysis platforms is a plus
Estimatics experience a plus
