Perkins Program Manager 2026-00448
NEOGOV is seeking a Perkins Program Manager to oversee activities and funding related to the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 grant. The role involves providing direction and technical assistance to local education agencies and postsecondary institutions to enhance career and technical education in Wyoming.

Responsibilities
Approve secondary/postsecondary local grant applications, which include providing technical assistance to recipients during the process, ensuring alignment of applicants five year plan with yearly plan and prepare secondary and postsecondary allocations annually; a general understanding of the Perkins budget and requirements is necessary
Facilitate statewide leadership activities, monitor and provide secondary/postsecondary technical assistance (TA), which includes on-site monitoring visits, develop monitoring tools and writing reports, providing one-on-one TA and informational presentations at workshops and trainings on new CTE initiatives/programs/best practices, distribution of information about changes in CTE and Perkins processes
Monitor the Grant Management System entries
Process cash requests
Provide Career Development Facilitator Training to all districts and community colleges as needed. Master's Degree required
Dissemination of information to CTE stakeholders through website, written correspondence, and email
Provide technical and technology assistance to the CTE unit in accomplishing customer service objectives
Collaborate with the CTE unit to revise and update CTE communications, including working with communications to update the WDE CTE section web page
Update and keep current all CTE guidebooks
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Education)
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Education Program Specialist
OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Education Program Specialist
Preferred
Master's degree in order to be certified to teach the Career Development Facilitator course
Knowledge of Wyoming education statutes and education systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail and Google Docs)
