Engagement Manager
Building Talent Foundation (BTF) is a national nonprofit addressing workforce challenges in residential construction. The Engagement Manager will build relationships with employers, secure job demand, and facilitate hiring processes to connect skilled talent with job opportunities.
Responsibilities
Own employer relationships
Prospect and engage employers
Understand hiring needs and project pipelines
Secure job orders and hiring commitments
Translate workforce demand into actionable placements
Work with a Recruiting Coordinator who sources and screens candidates
Own the match, the interview coordination, and the hire
Turn first conversations into ongoing employer relationships
Qualification
Required
5–10 years in agency recruiting, military recruiting, staffing, sales, job development, or employer partnerships
A track record of outbound outreach and closing commitments
Comfort walking onto job sites and talking with decision-makers
Strong follow-through and personal accountability
High energy, persistence, and resilience
Pride in representing a mission bigger than yourself
Preferred
Experience in construction, skilled trades, staffing, or military recruiting environments
