Professional Education Services Specialist
MicroPort Orthopedics is dedicated to delivering meaningful medical breakthroughs and is seeking a Professional Education Services Specialist to assist in the operations of MedEd cadaveric labs and events. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating with event planners, and providing on-site support during educational events.

Responsibilities
Maintain a working knowledge of all Professional Education events. Responsible to assist in post lab management of inventory, shipping, specimen and facility protocols
Partner with MPO Meeting Planners and East/West Coast Professional Education Managers as needed, to locate Facilities for events and ensure the necessary documentation is completed and submitted for the approval of scheduled events
Partner with Professional Education Event Planners and/or Professional Education Managers to organize lab details with facility, e.g., stations, # of specimens, general instruments, submit voucher requests, coordinate with vendors, etc
Full understanding of each cadaveric training event with the ability to assemble and deliver appropriate inventory and supplies as coordinated with Professional Education Planners and Managers
Timely communication and responsiveness with the Salesforce (Distributors and Reps) to supply the necessary tools needed for sales calls, local meetings and patient education events. An in-depth understanding of the MPO product offerings is necessary in order to adequately supply teams and events with the needed items, implants and support materials
Ability to organize, manage, and send out, on time, as needed all demo equipment, tradeshow/society graphic equipment, and/or sawbones supplies needed for the success of events or surgeon demonstrations
Supports the US (or specific Region) for MPO cadaveric training and/or MedEd events, working directly with Professional Education Planners and Managers to support as needed in planning, execution and follow up for successful events and trainings
Communicates and responds timely to MedEd, Marketing, Compliance, and all corporate workgroups
Ready to support events by being able to lead and assist on-site support staff at didactic and cadaveric training events from setup to cleanup; be present to assist with the labs and to quickly resolve any issues as they arise, while proactively addressing potential issues before they arise
Must be able to travel (30-40%) and work assigned weekends

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Communications or related degree required
Minimum 2 years' experience with a medical device company as an Associate Rep., Field Specialist, Marketing Program Manager or similar role, or 4 years in lieu of Bachelor's degree
Ability to be flexible and switch gears at a moment's notice
Ability to prioritize and adapt to rapid and continual change
