Responsibilities
Managing signal distribution and networking, including AV-over-IP protocols, EDID/HDCP management, and HDBaseT
Maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls
Setup and troubleshooting of immersive audio systems
Managing control systems like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS
Expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms for Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Tech
Conducting system checks and providing event support during Forge experiences and events
Training staff on system usage and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment
Troubleshooting and coordinating with facility IT around AV issues
Managing the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for faulty equipment
Performing on-site repairs when necessary and maintaining an inventory of equipment
Coordinating with third-party vendors for service and maintenance of AV systems
Supporting setup and user engagement with all A/V equipment in the space
Qualification
Required
Signal Distribution & Networking: AV-over-IP Protocols, EDID/HDCP Management, HDBaseT
Specialized Hardware (Large-Format Displays: Maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls)
Immersive Audio: Setup and troubleshooting of spatial audio or beamforming microphone arrays
Hardware Integration: Managing control systems like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS
Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Tech, UCaaS Platforms: Expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
PTZ Camera Control: Managing remote-operated cameras for high-quality streaming of 'Demo Days' or guest speaker events
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
Certifications in AV-over-IP Protocols or related networking protocols
Experience with managing large-scale AV installations in corporate environments
Training in troubleshooting and maintenance of specialized hardware like LED Video Walls
Experience with managing and supporting UCaaS platforms like Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
