5+ years expPROLIM Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Payment Systems Developer to lead the migration of transaction processing infrastructure from BASE24 Classic to BASE24-eps. This role requires deep expertise in NonStop/Tandem systems and card payment processing, along with strong analytical skills and technical development experience to ensure a seamless migration with minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities
Analyze existing BASE24 Classic configurations, customizations, and transaction flows; create detailed migration specifications
Convert custom transaction processing logic, authorization rules, and routing configurations from Classic to eps framework
Develop and maintain migration scripts, data transformation utilities, and automation tools
Build and configure BASE24-eps transaction processing modules according to business requirements
Create custom exits, user exits, and API integrations in the eps environment
Design and execute unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Perform parallel testing to ensure transaction output consistency between Classic and eps
Document system architecture, interface specifications, operational procedures, and runbooks
Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior team members on BASE24 and NonStop technologies
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and operations teams, including vendors and third-party providers
Provide post-migration hypercare support and troubleshoot production issues
Qualification
Required
5+ years hands-on experience with BASE24 Classic; 2+ years with BASE24-eps preferred
Expertise in NonStop/Tandem systems and Tandem Guardian OS
Programming experience in COBOL, MF COBOL, SCOBOL, C, TAL, TACL, SQL/MP
Strong understanding of ISO 8583, EMV transaction processing, and PCI-DSS standards
Experience with databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server
Familiarity with scripting languages: Python, Shell, Perl
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Chef, Git, Ansible)
Card payment processing (POS, ATM, card authorization, clearing, and settlement)
Switching/interchange systems (VISA, MasterCard, MDS, BICI)
Experience with fraud detection systems, risk management, and AML solutions
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with business and technical teams
Proven project management experience with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments
Preferred
ACI Worldwide certification in BASE24 Classic and BASE24-eps
Experience with additional payment platforms such as Postilion or VisionPLUS
Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience leading large-scale platform migrations
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
