Responsibilities
Establish key daily activities for reporting staff, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and performance objectives are met
In partnership with direct reports, implement improved administrative processes to enhance office capabilities
Oversee and delegate 3rd party reporting, bill of lading entries, inventory tracking, and related transactional data
Serve as subject matter expert for SAP warehouse operations knowledge (receiving, shipping, billing, inventory, etc.)
Collaborate with onboarding services in assisting seasonal new hires with paperwork completion, technology access, and related system set up
Handle escalated administrative items through resolution
Complete timecard approvals and oversee time off requests in an accurate and timely manner
Lead performance management related activities (goal setting, training, career pathing, performance reviews) for reporting staff
Support employees in responding to customer inquiries with excellence in service
Prepare and maintain various documents including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
In the Warehouse Manager’s absence, assist employees in making decisions, identifying priorities, and troubleshooting problems

Demonstrate willingness and enthusiasm to complete additional tasks to meet business objectives
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent certificate
7 years of previous experience in an administrative role
Ability to travel regionally on a minimal basis
Understanding basic financial principles
Familiarity with supply chain industry business principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and SAP
Apply critical thinking in problem solving scenarios
Organized approach to completing work in alignment with business priorities
Aptitude for leading, motivating, and retaining reporting staff
Skilled in recording and managing accurate detailed data and information
Demonstrate adaptability in a deadline driven environment with competing priorities
Proven capability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
