Responsibilities
Conduct and coordinate security assessments and threat modeling across enterprise and cloud environments
Identify risks, recommend mitigations, and define secure configuration requirements
Evaluate infrastructure and application services in sandbox environments to assess security posture and validate controls
Define and implement control intent using Policy-as-Code (PaC) where applicable
Contribute to security control inventories, governance documentation, and reporting frameworks
Perform quality assurance reviews of peer assessments to ensure technical rigor and accuracy
Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering teams on threat landscapes and risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate across technology, risk, and business teams to improve overall security governance
Leverage industry frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and MITRE ATT&CK to identify control gaps
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
2+ years of experience securing enterprise and cloud environments
Hands-on experience securing infrastructure, applications, and containerized environments
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or similar platforms)
Experience designing secure networking architectures
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with software security architecture, application security, threat modelling, penetration testing, or vulnerability management
Experience securing container services
Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent
