Responsibilities
Collaborate across Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to understand business needs and scope data requirements, then drive those projects to completion with minimal guidance
Work with product, insurance, CRM and more datasets end-to-end--from ingestion and transformation through analysis and delivery--using a range of analytical and statistical approaches
Build and maintain models that help the business predict, prioritize, and act quickly and more frequently
Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights tailored to different audiences
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of experience as a data scientist in a related insurtech or financial services field
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science)
Expert with SQL and proficiency with either Python or R
Proficiency with descriptive and inferential statistics
Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments
Comfortable communicating recommendations and analysis in compelling data visualizations
Experience or interest in building out the team's agentic analytics capabilities
