Human Resources Analyst I/II
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a vacancy in their Human Resources Department for the positions of Human Resources Analyst I/II. The role involves performing various human resources administrative work and supporting HR management programs, focusing on areas like recruitment, classification, and employee relations.

Responsibilities
Performs a variety of responsible human resources administrative work, professional, technical, and analytical activities in support of the District's human resource management programs and initiatives
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to recruitment and selection, classification, compensation, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and benefits administration
Performs related duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of four years' professional experience in a human resources generalist capacity, with a specific focus on administering comprehensive health and retirement benefits and managing leave and disability programs
Experience performing classification and compensation studies
Ability to interpret MOUs for labor relations purposes
Strong technical aptitude for HCM systems (Workday preferred)
Three (3) years professional experience supporting human resources programs, preferably in a government or utility environment for Human Resources Analyst I
Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience supporting human resources programs, preferably in a government or utility environment, or one (1) year of experience at the Human Resources Analyst I level with the District for Human Resources Analyst II
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in human resources, public or business administration, or a related field
Preferred
At least one year of experience working in a public agency
Professional designation in human resources management or related specialty is desired
