SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST (Title 32)
USAJOBS is seeking a Supply Systems Analyst for the Department of the Army. The primary purpose of the position is to perform analysis of supply management procedures and to oversee subordinates in the accomplishment of branch work.

Responsibilities
Manage for Retail Supply Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) in for Material Management Branch
Develops and establishes controls to ensure that results of workload requirements identify systemic problems and enhance mission accomplishment
Participates with supervisor in carrying out the supervisory responsibilities of the branch
Reviews, analyzes, and interprets supply directives and guidelines to formulate and implement effective operating procedures to achieve optimum logistical support
Performs surveys and studies of branch supply operations to determine proper application of improved supply methods
Qualification
Required
National Guard Membership is required
Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation
Must meet Compatible Military Assignment within one year from placement
Wear of the military uniform is mandatory
Direct Deposit is mandatory
Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
Incumbent is required to serve a 2-year trial/probationary period
Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field
Experience using computer and automation systems
Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 24 months of specialized experience in the following: Experience, education, or training dealing with cost estimates, budgets or funding management
Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support
Knowledge of commonly applied supply principles, concepts, and methodologies of inventory management or of supply program management to perform recurring assignments, operations, and/or procedures dealing with supply issues and problems
Skill in weighing the impact of variables such as cost, existing policies and procedures, data processing requirements and other issues that influence the course of action
Knowledge of accepted methods, techniques, and standardized automated databases to search for and analyze information, resolve questions, prepare entries for supply record systems, and provide supply information, reports, and services
Knowledge to perform analytical assignments involving a specific issue associated with supply management or operations, or to study and recommend solutions for a segment of a broad study involving several issues or problems

Incumbent will be required to be assigned to compatible military position within 1 year of selection
The selected individual may be required to attend formal technician school training
This position requires a security clearance (secret) which the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment
Training at the National Guard Professional Education Center (NGPEC) is a mandatory condition of employment, subject to availability of resources
NGB prescribed courses at NGPEC must be completed within 6 months of assignment to this position
Failure to complete course(s) may result in reassignment or termination of full-time employment unless extenuating circumstances preclude course attendance
You will be required to serve a 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest
