Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
Manage virtualization platforms and associated virtual machines
Support system patching, backups, monitoring, and performance optimization
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure issues
Support firewall configurations, VPN connectivity, and secure remote access
Assist with identity and access management solutions, including MFA and conditional access policies
Help maintain security best practices across infrastructure services
Support existing and future cloud-based infrastructure alongside on-prem systems
Assist with hybrid identity, networking, and security integrations
Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives at a measured pace
Learn and apply cloud operational best practices with guidance and support
Contribute to monitoring, backup, and cost-awareness efforts for cloud resources
Develop scripts and workflows to automate routine IT tasks
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability
Assist with documentation and standardization of infrastructure processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
4–7 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or related roles
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Experience with virtualization platforms (Proxmox preferred; VMware acceptable)
Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and MFA concepts
Interest in cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure models
Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell preferred)
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus, but not required
