Responsibilities
Review intermediate & product control charts as part of the PCS (Process Control System) process. Investigate trends in product data, determine root cause, & implement corrective or improvement actions
Investigate & resolve OoC product parameters with batches in production
Implement controls identified by FMEA for specific products - implement specifications, control limits & trend rules in SPC software
Investigate and resolve customer quality and performance complaints
Respond to customer requests regarding specification improvements and information on product manufacturing process (control plans, process flow, quality systems, etc)
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science
Minimum of 2 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: quality engineering, formulation development, analytical science, statistics, process engineering, chemical manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to solve problems of a technical nature
Minimum of 2 years' experience using statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong attention to detail
