Sales and Account Management Intern

Responsibilities

Assisting client-facing projects and deliverables
Research benefit, claims, enrollment inquiries
Analyze data, compile records, and prepare reports
Assist in preparing analysis or financial exhibits
Standard report generation
Assist staff maintaining inventory and distribution of promotional items
Shadow Sales team members to bolster understanding of sales process
Experience and support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
Inbound/Outbound call support
Perform market research and competitive analysis, present to leadership
Execute projects to promote, grow, and generate sales
Participate in various external client-facing events and presentations
Work closely with account management and sales teams to develop outbound marketing campaigns and assets through various communication channels
Assist with special initiatives to current clients, brokers, and prospects
Support the maintenance of our SalesForce database per Sales/Account Management/Client Services direction; Update and ensure accurate information
Represent the department throughout the organization in a positive manner

Required

Self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision
Excellent phone presence and desire to learn
Excellent analytical, problem identification, and resolution skills as these pertain to benefit plans
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute healthy and positive dynamics to the work team
Positive attitude and the ability to participate as part of a team to assure plan compliance and customer satisfaction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines
Professional brand ambassador at all public events
Team Player. Ability to see the big picture goals of the organization and contribute on day-to-day tasks
High school diploma & pursuing a Bachelor's degree; a minimum of a junior status for 2025
Experience work in sales or service/support position
Dental/Insurance knowledge is a plus
