IT Support / Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for tier-1 and tier-2 IT support, resolving issues while maintaining a high standard of customer service
Manage and prioritize tickets in Jira Service Management, ensuring timely tracking and resolution of incidents
Support endpoint deployment and device management across macOS and Windows environments using Kandji and Microsoft Intune
Lead the migration of PCs to Intune and help build secure, scalable configuration standards
Implement and refine zero-touch provisioning strategies for new devices
Administer onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring proper access setup, device provisioning, and secure deprovisioning
Support identity and access management workflows, including Okta integrations, SAML/SCIM configuration, and workflow automation
Identify opportunities to streamline IT operations through automation and AI-driven tooling
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain compliance, documentation, and operational consistency

Required

Strong experience supporting macOS and Windows environments, including device management platforms such as Kandji and Intune
Hands-on administration experience with at least three productivity or collaboration platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, or 1Password
Working knowledge of SOC II compliance principles and security best practices
Experience using Jira Service Management or comparable ticketing systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service focus
Comfort leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, documentation, and workflow management
Bachelor's Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required

Preferred

Direct experience migrating PCs to Microsoft Intune and building configuration policies
Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows or scripting automation
Experience supporting distributed or remote-first organizations
Additional familiarity with SOC II environments and audit readiness
