Responsibilities

Provide field inspection and onsite representation for various water and wastewater improvement projects
Observe and document field and construction activities primarily related to construction improvements to water and sewer pipeline infrastructure
Provide construction inspection at Water and Wastewater facilities
Communicate between contractor, owner/client, third parties, and engineering design team
Review submittals, specifications, and drawings
Maintain accurate and concise daily reports and project records, including record drawings
Perform field testing of soils, concrete, observation testing of water, sewer mains, and manholes
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple deadlines
Drive ownership of health and safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringConstruction ManagementTechnical Drawing InterpretationMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelCommunication SkillsInterpersonal SkillsAttention to DetailTime ManagementTeam Player

Required

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field
Proficiency in the use of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer software required to generate construction progress reports
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering data
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, team oriented perspective
Attention to detail and disciplined time management skills
The ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and to react to change in a fast-paced environment
Proven as an excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Highly effective written skills and timely documentation of daily activities and reporting of site issues
Ability and high degree of proficiency communicating with multiple stakeholders, across multiple sites, and subcontractors routinely
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel between project sites
