Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise-scale applications
Deploy and support services in AWS environments such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc
Containerize applications and work with Kubernetes/EKS for deployment and scaling
Collaborate with other engineers to design reusable, maintainable, and high-performing services
Participate in Agile development practices and iterative releases
Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to maintain service reliability
Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD integration
Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape backend design patterns
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
Hands-on experience with AWS such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit/integration tests
Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex production issues
Familiarity with Agile development practices
