Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain display and touch drivers at the kernel level or for microcontrollers
Provide engineering support to production and manufacturing teams, resolving issues related to calibration, testing, and yield optimization
Analyze hardware schematics to understand display and touch subsystem design and interface requirements
Develop and manage hardware control interfaces, including GPIO, I2C, SPI, regulators, and interrupt mechanisms
Optimize power usage and management of display and touch subsystems to meet device power targets
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate drivers and troubleshoot system-level issues
Create and execute test cases to ensure driver quality, stability, and reliability

Required

Strong experience developing device drivers for Linux kernel and microcontrollers; experience with display and touch drivers is a plus
Proficient in C and C++ programming
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics
Deep understanding of embedded hardware control mechanisms: GPIO control, I2C communication, Interrupt handling, Power sequencing and management
Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems
Collaborative team player with proactive approach to problem-solving
Flexible and able to switch between technical contexts quickly
Eager to learn new tools, processes, and technologies
Strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask effectively
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
