Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential IT suppliers based on company needs, budget constraints, and technical requirements
Negotiate contracts to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels
Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers
Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
Monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) and other performance metrics
Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations based on performance evaluations
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives
Develop competitive pricing strategies through vendor negotiations and alternative sourcing approaches
Coordinate with IT teams for hardware and software procurement, renewals, and decommissioning
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Communicate with IT and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of new systems and technologies
Negotiate terms for on-premises solutions and SaaS agreements, collaborating with legal and business units as necessary
Support procurement of data center (DC) equipment, understanding capabilities and operational requirements
Collaborate with suppliers to forecast periodic requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Qualification
Required
Chinese language proficiency required to manage China-based contracts from the U.S
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in IT supply chain management or a similar role
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing best practices
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing supply chain (Discrete Manufacturing) preferred
