Plasma Operator (2nd Shift)(Onsite)

They are seeking a Plasma Operator in Wichita Falls who will be responsible for preparing and performing plasma spray operations on engine parts, contributing to the repair of engine hot sections.

Responsibilities

Prepare parts for plasma spray (mask, grit blast, anti-bond of plasma spray)
Set up thermal spray parameters according to PMS and/or SOP
Perform thermal spray operations
Maintain thermal spray records pertinent to the department
Complete OJT program, or successfully complete related Vo-tech training (e.g. precision tools, process controls)
Perform preventative and minor maintenance on equipment
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Read basic graphic instructions and dimensional drawings
Use precision measuring tools, i.e. micrometers and calipers
Participate in all appropriate CORE (ACE) activities

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments
Previous experience performing preventative maintenance
Previous experience in Aviation Industry
