Start in 2026 SummerAtlas Copco Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support their Medical Engineering Group. The role involves contributing to the design, testing, and development of critical components and systems used in medical technology, while gaining hands-on engineering experience under the guidance of mentors.

Responsibilities
Air and vacuum base design
High‑voltage protection development
Customer drawing creation for Class 1 Air systems
CRN testing and setup
TA360 alarm bill‑of‑materials (BOM) generation
Test stand design for Mk5, MSV, and alarm system
Qualification
Required
Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution
Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance
Have their own housing – no housing will be provided with this internship
Must be a rising junior or senior within their program of study
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative
Demonstrate leadership qualities
