Responsibilities
Must have training with one or more of the following:
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
RF Circuit Design
Analog Circuit Design
Digital Electronics Design
FPGA Design
Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)
LabView Automated Test Stand Design
Requires strong oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills required
Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams
Will be required to assist in the design and development of electronic systems
Will be required to write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
Will be required to assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures
Will be required to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems
Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience with electronic circuits and systems design, integration, and testing
Experience with the use of standard lab test equipment
Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or VHDL
Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry
Knowledge of test report and procedure generation
Strong oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and with interdepartmental teams
Assist in the design and development of electronic systems
Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
Assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures
Assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems
B.S.E.E. degree from an accredited university or equivalent
3+ years related experience and/or training
Preferred
Knowledge of motor drives and controls
Defense or aerospace industry experience
PCB layout experience
Knowledge of RF systems
Familiarity with AS9100
Master's in electrical engineering related field or an MBA
Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry
Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions
