Responsibilities
Maintaining, enhancing, and supporting our ERP System
Ensure the system operates at optimal levels
Interact with vendors to resolve issues
Collaborate with Business Analysts, users, and other developers to develop requested changes and new solutions that meet operational requirements
Designing, coding, testing (unit, system, performance), debugging, implementing, documenting, and supporting systems through new development, enhancements, or third-party product implementation
Knowledge of web services and APIs connectivity
Experience in estimating project effort for solutions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills with non-technical staff
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with users
Qualification
Required
Experience working with AS400/IBM i platform is a plus, otherwise candidates must possess the aptitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn the platform and programming languages
Job duties include designing, coding, testing (unit, system, performance), debugging, implementing, documenting, and supporting systems through new development, enhancements, or third-party product implementation
Knowledge of web services and APIs connectivity
Experience in estimating project effort for solutions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills with non-technical staff
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with users
Education and/or experience in application design, development and support functions
Knowledge/experience with or willingness to learn AS400/IBM i, OS/400, DB2, RPG/RPGLE and CL programming skills
Experience applying technical solutions to business requirements
Preferred
Experience in the following technologies: .NET, C#, Java and Web Development Languages is a plus
Experience with database modeling and design, configuration and information management preferred
SQL coding experience is a plus
