MDT Facilitator
Prince George's County Government provides a dynamic and inclusive workplace where employees can thrive, learn, and grow. The MDT Facilitator is responsible for facilitating collaborative relationships with partner and community organizations to ensure a coordinated response to child abuse and neglect cases through the effective implementation of the MDT model.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between Prince George’s County Child Advocacy Center and its community partners to ensure optimal utilization of current, evidence-based victim response protocols
Responsible for administering assessment tools to evaluate effectiveness of the MDT/Case Review staffing process
Have regular monthly contact with all community partners, including following up with partners who missed the meeting
Provide orientation for new MDT members as needed
Assist CAC Director with identifying community partner training needs and developing/coordinating workshops to meet those needs
Responsible for gathering and maintaining MDT related metrics necessary for Prince George’s County Child
Responsible for maintaining regular open communication with community partners
Provide crisis intervention, information and support to primary and secondary victims as needed
Attend training workshops and conferences
Attend departmental meetings
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field
Responsible work experience which includes coordination of group activities, preferably including work with disadvantaged individuals
Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver's license
Meet all training and performance standards and demonstrate proficiency as required by the agency
Wear and use agency protective apparel and equipment in the performance of their assigned duties, if applicable
Successfully pass preemployment checks which may include reference checks, background investigations, and drug screenings, where applicable
Be willing and able to serve as an essential employee. Essential employees are expected to report during standard or non-standard hours as operations necessitate, or during emergencies. Essential employees are expected to report or remain at work when other County employees are granted Administrative Leave
Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver's license
