Responsibilities

Serve as the Deputy Director, Acquisition and Facilities Management Division (AFMD) exercising managerial direction and control of the programs, functions, and workforce of AFMD
Direct the preparation of policies, directives, instructions, and other guidance dealing with the procurement program
Direct and control physical security assessments for security related services and facilities, identification media programs, and other security related services
Oversee the Bureau's space management program including the acquiring and retrofitting of space to meet organizational need

Required

Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service
Specialized experience for this position includes: Managing at least one operations support program (procurement/acquisitions, personnel and physical security, or facilities management), to include independently developing and implementing bureau-level policy (or higher) for the program you managed
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks
Must successfully complete a background investigation
Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency
Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer
If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so
Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9
Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel
File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on
Undergo an income tax verification
This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into 'Continuous Vetting.'
