As a Packaging Development Specialist, you will support a variety of packaging development activities, focusing on ensuring the delivery of high-quality packaging materials with cost-efficiency and on-time execution.

Responsibilities
Effectively work across internal and external stakeholders/vendors/partners to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of packaging related needs
Manage the completion of structural design, substrate selection, artwork, and approvals as needed for specific packaging developments
Test and validate packaging to ensure final product will meet technical and quality standards – making recommendations for feasible alternatives as needed
Request inputs for package development (e.g. part numbers, UPC, SKU set-up, etc.)
Create pallet patterns for outgoing loads
Upload final specifications to internal Campari specification database
Facilitate development related shipments to key stakeholders as needed
Manage continuous improvement, sustainability, or OEE Projects
Qualification
Required
MS Office proficiency required
General knowledge of packaging material characteristics (glass, labels, closures, etc.)
Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
Good communication skills
Ability to travel as needed
