Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Receives, verifies, organizes, and stores tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and parts inventory
Monitors order-points, places, and expedites tooling and supplies orders
Work from blueprints, operation sheets, work instructions, and other specifications, to build required kits for manufacturing operations
Maintains inventory levels using spreadsheets and databases
Works with Purchasing to procure of perishable and non-perishable tooling
Quotes special tooling needs for manufacturing process
Performs tool sharpening
Assists with troubleshooting using tooling vendors for support
Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear
Packs and washes/preserves parts as needed
Performs other machining and assembly operations as needed
Interacts with associates from all departments
Performs other related duties as required
Deliver tool kits and miscellaneous supplies to various machines on the manufacturing floor
Cross train for other functions within the department
Potential to become Forklift certified
Qualification
Required
One to two years prior experience in a tool crib environment
Strong communication and analytical skills
Must be able to read and write comments, understand operation sheets, blueprints, and specifications
Required PC Skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
