Responsibilities
Design and define end-to-end application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
Lead the development of cloud-native applications deployed on AWS
Architect and enforce microservices best practices, including service decomposition, API gateways, and inter-service communication
Design, develop, and review RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security, and performance
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
Guide containerization strategies using Docker and support orchestration standards where applicable
Ensure application reliability, performance, and security through architectural reviews and standards
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams, conducting code reviews and design sessions
Drive modernization initiatives, refactoring monolithic applications into microservices where needed
Participate in troubleshooting complex production issues and provide architectural solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
Extensive experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.)
Solid understanding of REST API design, API security, and performance optimization
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
Strong experience with Docker and container-based deployments
Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and resiliency
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
