Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software applications and systems using a variety of web and service technologies such as PHP, and Python
Integrate third-party APIs and other data sources into existing systems as needed
Coordinate with other members of the IT team and stakeholders across the institution to identify and address technology-related needs
Contribute to the planning and implementation of new technology initiatives
Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in web technologies, APIs, .Net technologies, and AI tools
Provide technical support, documentation, and training as needed
Maintain business partner relationships with a portfolio of assigned organizational units to understand their needs within this responsibility domain and meet their requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
PHP Knowledge is required
PostgreSQL or some relational database is mandatory
Able to multitask and be self-motivated
Strong ability to problem solve and troubleshoot web applications and code
Research and learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study
Play a direct role in maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of company-used technologies and code
4+ years of experience with PHP, BASH, JavaScript
Relational database experience is required, PostgreSQL is mandatory
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
Programming in a non-academic environment: 4 year (Required)
Work Related PostgreSQL: 4 year (Required)
Work Related PHP: 4 year (Required)
Preferred
Python, Ruby knowledge preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of Linux is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of basic Networking is preferred but not mandatory
